CoinSides Adventure Sparks

Sparks are side-quests which can be inserted into nearly any existing adventure. Some details and characters have been kept intentionally vague so you can plug in the best fitting Sparks into your home campaign. The recommended setting for this Spark is Mid/High Magic, Fantasy. While CoinSides are not required, all Sparks have a coin as the central story element.

Background

Who knows why the gods behave in the ways they do or what rules they live by. But some are clearly ‘good’ and others just as clearly ‘bad’ and they all meddle in the affairs of man. They offer both gifts and curses and sometimes it’s difficult to tell which is which. They may offer a small piece of their power to a mortal, just to see what they might do with it. Such is the case of Wishing Well Coins.

Across the lands many are familiar with the notion of tossing a coin in a well to make a wish. Any coin will do, but the odds of having the wish granted are slim. God-touched Wishing Well Coins are another matter.
