CoinSides Adventure Sparks

Sparks are side-quests which can be inserted into nearly any existing adventure. Some details and characters have been kept intentionally vague so you can plug in the best fitting Sparks into your home campaign. The recommended setting for this Spark is High Fantasy. While CoinSides are not required, all Sparks have a coin as the central story element.

Background

Zargar, the Corrupter, was a powerful transmuter wizard who sought the key to dominate all mortal souls, and who believed this key was gold. He learned the secret to becoming a lich – an undead wizard who will only die if the receptacle that holds his soul is destroyed – and bound his essence to a gold coin.
